Identity of Suspect Sought in Multiple Commercial Armed Robberies


            Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with multiple commercial armed robberies.
The most recent robbery occurred on August 23, 2011, at approximately
9:42 p.m.  The suspect walked into the Sunoco, located in the 6700 block of Laurel Bowie Road, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.  The victim complied and the suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.  He is also wanted in connection with a Sunoco robbery that occurred on
August 21, 2011, at approximately 11:30 p.m., in the 12500 block of Laurel Bowie Road.
On August 3, 2011, police believe the suspect robbed the 7-11 located in the 12000 block of Laurel Bowie Road and the Subway restaurant in the 6700 block of Suitland Road.    
He is described as a black male around 30-40 years of age.  He is approximately 5’5” in height weighing approximately 130-140 lbs, and armed with a handgun.
