Police Make Quick Arrest in Oxon Hill Stabbing

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has arrested Michael Douglas Nealy, 35, in connection with the homicide of Jakari Butler that occurred in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
On November 18, 2011 at approximately 5:29 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of Marcy Avenue for a report of a cutting.  Upon arrival, patrol officers found 20-year-old Butler, of the 5600 block of Sachem Drive, Oxon Hill, suffering from trauma to his upper body.  He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival. 
Through the course of their investigation, homicide detectives developed Nealy, of the 7100 block of Richmond Highway in Alexandria, Virginia, as a suspect in the case.  Nealy was arrested early yesterday morning in Lanham and is being held by the Department of Corrections on a No Bond status.
