Suspect Sought in Attempt Robbery of Bank

The Prince George's County Police Department's Robbery Unit is seeking the public's assistance in locating an individual wanted in connection with the attempt robbery of a Bank of America in Clinton, Maryland.

On November 21, 2011, at approximately 1:18 p.m., a suspect walked into the Bank of America in the 7800 block of Old Branch Avenue and passed a note to a bank teller demanding money.  It was refused by the teller and the suspect fled the bank on foot. 

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Robbery Unit at (301) 772-4905.  Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411 TIPS (8477), text "PGPD plus your message" to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone, or go to http://www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/police/ to submit a tip online.  A cash reward is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.

A cash reward of up to $1,000.00 is being offered.
