PGPD Makes Quick Arrest in Domestic-Related Homicide in Clinton

The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested the suspect in a domestic-related homicide in Clinton. The suspect is identified as 38-year-old D’Juan Renay Hunter of the 2700 block of Shipley Terrace in Southeast Washington.  The victim is identified as 52-year-old Raymond Quattlebaum of the 9100 block of Goldfield Place in Clinton.

On January 1, 2014, at about 9:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 9100 block of Goldfield Place for the report of a shooting.  When they arrived, patrol officers found Quattlebaum suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals Hunter went to the home on Goldfield Place to visit family. While there, Hunter confronted Quattlebaum. During the confrontation, Hunter shot Quattlebaum.
Quattlebaum was engaged to Hunter's mother.  After the shooting, Hunter ran from the home.  He was found and arrested early this morning in Bowie.  Hunter faces first degree murder and related charges.
