PGPD Investigates Employee’s Death at Recycle Plant in Clinton

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a death at an asphalt recycling plant in Clinton. The decedent is an employee at Aggregate Industries.

On April 27, 2015, shortly before 10:00 am, patrol officers responded to the 5400 block of Kirby Road for the report of an injured person. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from trauma to the body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals the employee was working on or near a rock crusher when his harness became tangled in a conveyor belt and he was pulled into the machine. This appears to be an accident.
