PGPD Investigates Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Clinton

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Clinton. The victim is 21-year-old Charles Edward Thomas III of Heflin Drive in Clinton.

On June 1, 2015, shortly after 8:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 9600 block of Dangerfield Road for the report of a motorcycle accident. When officers arrived, they found Thomas suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Preliminarily, it appears Thomas was traveling northbound on Dangerfield Road when, for reasons unknown, his motorcycle left the roadway, coming to rest in a nearby yard.
