PGPD to Canvass Suitland Neighborhood in Sexual Assault Investigation



Prince George’s County Police detectives will canvass a Suitland community this evening to pass out Crime Solvers flyers with information about a sexual assault that occurred Monday. A reward of up to $25,000 dollars is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On July 27, 2015, at about 4:30 pm, a man sexually assaulted a woman inside a home in the 3200 block of Swann Road. The suspect broke into the apartment and confronted the victim who had been sleeping. The suspect had a gun.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6’0 – 6’3”, with a thin build. He was wearing a black mask, black baseball cap and all black clothing.

Detectives will begin the canvass this evening at 7:00 pm. They’ll focus their efforts in the 3200 block of Swann Road.
