The
Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and
Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash in Capitol Heights. The
victim is 45-year-old Gregory Antoine Hall of Leroy Gorham Drive in Capitol
Heights.
On
January 18, 2016, at about 2:50 am, patrol officers were called to the 8700
block of Walker Mill Road for the report of a crash involving three
vehicles.
The
preliminarily investigation reveals an SUV was heading eastbound on Walker Mill
Road. Hall was heading westbound on Walker Mill Road. For reasons which are
under investigation, the SUV crossed the centerlines and struck Hall's car head
on. The SUV then sideswiped a third vehicle. Hall was the sole
occupant of his car. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the SUV
and the driver of the third vehicle both remained on scene.
Investigators
are looking into whether alcohol and speed were factors in this crash.
