Detectives Arrest Man for Murdering Brother in Forestville

The Homicide Unit arrested a Temple Hills man for fatally shooting his brother in March. The suspect is 29-year-old Jacobi Williams of the 3500 block of 29th Avenue.

On March 23, 2016, at about 5:20 am, patrol officers were called to the 5000 block of Hil Mar Drive in Forestville. The victim, Rashaad Tate, was found outside. He had been shot and also set on fire. 

Preliminarily, detectives believe the fatal shooting stemmed from an earlier dispute. Williams is charged with first and second degree murder. He is in custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
