Detectives Investigate Homicide in District Heights

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in District Heights. The victim is 46-year-old Nathan Slye Jr., of Pearl Drive in Suitland. A cash reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.
On March 3rd, at about 12:25 pm, officers were called to the 3000 block of Great Oak Drive for the report of a shooting. Officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Detectives are working to identify a motive and suspect in this fatal shooting.
